The Story Behind Toddler Word Cards+: An App Made for My Child

My 29-month-old son, Junseo, is in the stage where everything sparks his curiosity.
As we walk down the street, he constantly asks, “Daddy, what’s that?” or “What do you call this?”

One day, we visited the zoo, and I still remember how excited he was.
When he saw an elephant, he shouted, “Elephant!” with joy.
Even after we got home, he kept asking, “Where did the elephant go?”

So my wife and I started looking for an educational app that could help him learn new words.
But most of the apps we found were disappointing — either too complex or filled with ads that distracted him.
Some were just simple flashcards that he quickly lost interest in.

Then I thought:

“Wouldn’t it be great if there were an app where our child could learn naturally and have fun doing it?”

That simple thought led to the creation of Toddler Word Cards+.

We designed the app from a child’s perspective — simple, cute, and fun.
And from a parent’s perspective — safe, focused, and ad-light.
We added features that let kids see, hear, and repeat words out loud, creating an interactive learning experience.

Now, Junseo joyfully shouts, “Giraffe!”, “Apple!”, “Bus!” every day while using the app.

Toddler Word Cards+ is a child-centered app born from one dad’s real concern.
And we're still improving it to help kids everywhere smile and learn every day.
